I have recently discovered the awesomeness that is a menstrual cup. Hey, I warned you this was personal. If you are a woman who is so lucky to deal with this on a regular basis, I highly recommend you look into one.
How is this related to knitting? Well, I was so inspired and I needed a way to bring it up in conversation...It's my new religion. Have you heard the good news?
Pattern soon, for the 2 other people who knit and use cups...

Hilarious!!! I know the feeling about needing to spread the good news...it's life changing!
I think that's funny and cute. :) I have a Divacup and I absolutely adore it. It's much more comfortable than the other methods and I got so sick of buying tampons that are so chemically screwed with. It really is quite comfortable. I totally recommend them to people when they bring it up.
I think the hat is amazing and cute, but I don't think I'd have the guts to wear it! :) BUT good on you!
Love it! I'm already converted on cups, but it might just convert me on knitting ;) --Diana
Make that 3 people who knit and use the cup!! Or from the looks of the comments, there's quite a few of us! :D
Make that four. But I don't think I would wear one on my head.... You are too funny!
BTW - I found your blog after reading your socktopus pattern on Knitty. He is very cute. You should blog again. I would read. :)
Genius! I love it! I love my mooncup (uk), and I recently took up knitting again with a view to recreating an old sweater that I loved...coincidence!
Do ordinary people recognise what your hat really resembles?
AWESOME! i just got a divacup today so this is great news...apparently the cup is so good that there is a knitted version of it for the head!!! thanks for sharing.
Do you sell these hats? I'm the type who goes out of their ways to spread the word as well! lol
